To eat the eggs from a chicken that has bumblefoot?

I'm not sure.I was wondering this to.
Yes it is OK. I would be concerned if the infection had gone systemic, but by that time they've quit laying anyway.
Good to know because I did eat mine when my pullet had bumblefoot.
