My parents are going to PA for the weekend and asked if I wanted to come too. I really want to but I'm not sure if should leave the eggs by themselves over night for 1 night. we would be going saturday morning to sunday afternoon.

is it safe to leave the eggs by themselves?

Depends on where you are in the 21 days and whether or not you're hand turning or are using an auto turner.

If you're before lockdown and using a auto turner, it might be safe to go. Realize the two things that could happen in your absence are losing power and temp spikes or drops -- no one would be there to correct them until you got back.

we are only up to day 8 on saturday and i have been getting a pretty good steady temp of 100 for the past 3 days in a row.
i will probably not go though just to make sure.

At day 8 I would go if the bator is holding good, even if i was hand turning them. jmho
