is it stress or old chickens?

Hey all, so I finally got chickens again last weekend. (yay! the last 2 years have been rough with out my ladies)

These girls are a bit on the "older" side- the oldest is about 4 years old and the youngest is 2ish. the egg laying this week has not been awesome, we got 1 Sunday, 2 Monday, 2 Wednesday and none since. There are 6 hens al together.

I'm wondering if its the stress of new environment and new "neighbors" (our neighbors chickens are free range and mine are in a run, so the rooster from next door likes to strut about). the coop is different also, its a smaller indoor area, with a much bigger run than they are used to. I did get ceramic eggs, and they did lay the eggs in the next boxes.

It has also been warm this week- high 80's and humid, and mid 90's this coming week, could that be the reason for the lack of eggs?

On a side note, this is a group of chickens that I took from my parents flock. there were 20 something in their flock all-together and with these 6 out, I think i counted 16 the other day. Their egg production has been really low too this week. (even less than mine I think). they have a couple more of the 4 year old hens, but everyone else is younger and they have a bunch that are barely 2
