Is it the thermometer or is it just me??

I have the exact same thermometer/hydrometer as you...and I've found my terbo fan incubator won't go above 99.7....though it only really wants to go to 98.4....sigh...my still air is working better lol. When in doubt buy a new thermometer is the way I see it. Good luck! Don't give up on hatching

Ironically, I have 2 thermometer/hygrometers (one intended for incubators, one a simple household one from Home Depot). The temps are accurate on the Home Depot one (indoor and outdoor) but the hygrometer is way off. The hygrometer is accurate on the incubator one, but the temps are off. Go figure. And they're both electronic, with fresh batteries. So.....I check temps on the one, humidity on the other. I've hatched successfully using them that way, so it must be "good enough", but ye gods, it's been frustrating.
