I am new to this forum and am looking for an answer quick! We are going on vacation on friday. I have 6 week old chicks and people to take care of them, but they wont be here all day. I want them to be able to stay outside during the day. It is in the 80s and 90s here with high humidity (today 88%). I built them an "apartment" off the coop and am wondering if it is too hot to keep them outside all day in their apartment and inside the coop in their own section. Everything is fully shaded. They are fully feathered. One is a bantam.

They should be fine, just keep them full with cool water, and maybe give them some frozen/half frozen cabbage as a treat, or icicles in the water, or in hot days spray them with water in the morning, so they'll dry off and stay cool during the day (did that on a hot day here)
Good luck and Welcome to BYC
