Is it true...sexing Khaki Campbell ducklings

I've had Khaki Campbell boys & girls, ducks & drakes, that had the little white spot on the front of their necks. I think it's hereditary, or just random. It's fairly easy to learn to vent-sex ducklings, or just wait several weeks for the girls to start quacking and the boys to rasp.

i know the noisy girls
how i figured the pekin ducklings i got
all I know is I love my ducks..

I don't think Khakis are supposed to have white on the neck, male or female! I've never seen that on my purebred Khaki ducklings, but I only have them from one line, so perhaps others do. It's cute, but not something I'd use to guess the sex.
