Is it true that if you get our guinea fowl blood tested you can get more money for them?

Blood tested for what exactly? Sex? Genetic background? Health?

IMO, you may end up paying more for the testing than the actual bird is worth... LOL.

Thats just it the person who was telling me didn't tell me what they are testing for. He talked about the bird flu so I am guessing diseases or something.

My guineas have been tested for S. Pullorum and Avian Influenza. It was free through the state.

I suppose if they are tested for P-T and AI AND certified as clean, then you could charge more for them... but to most people (especially people that aren't raising NPIP certified flocks) that doesn't mean much, and they would rather go buy cheaper keets somewhere else, lol.
