When I went out this evening to take care of my chicks (2 months old) only 3 (2 hens and 1 rooster) of them were in the run to see what goodies I had brought, a 4th one (a hen) came out of the house to investigate, too. I have 6, so when I went in the house to take care of their feed and water the other 2 (a hen and a rooster) were inside on a little perch near one of the boxes. They were nestled up together and stayed that way the entire time I was in the house, usually they would go investigate the goodies, too. It looked kind of like they having a quiet discussion of the romantic kind
Is it too young for that behavior yet?? LOL, or are my little kids growing up?? Also, on the same note, at what age (roughly) do I start to look for eggs?
BTW- As you can probably tell, I am very new to chicken tending
