is it worth it

Anyone notice that the females look like they are non-bearded while the male is bearded?

That was the first thing I noticed. They look nice, but I would probably want all bearded or all non-bearded. Not some of both.

I agree, it depends on how much you want them. I am always bad at selling birds because I could sell some for alot but I never do. They look good at first but then a couple seconds later I started noticing the defects like basically no lacing in the crests, the non-bearded hens and the bearded cock, just their overall carriage is almost alittle too gamey for me, and overall they just dont look like polish to me. Personally I wouldnt pay more than $25 for that trio. I could see paying that much if you needed them to improve your flock like lacing width or tail carriage. To me I dont think that trio would produce good offspring.

Maybe nyreds will come in and give a better evaluation on them, I love having a real poultry judge here, it helps me improve my knowledge of what to look for in birds.

I spent $78 on a single rooster from Alan Stanford once. So if you find it worth it then you get them. They are very nice looking birds in my opinion. I would like my rooster to be a little more on the light side though. he seems more closer to a red then a buff to me.
