Is Layer feed okay for pullets for a little while?

I have six pullets and I just ran out of grower feed. Will layer feed be okay for a little while? Tractor Supply is closed so it's either layer feed or nothing tonight.

layer feed should be fine for a little while, you can always take some oatmeal or even just rip up some grass and feed them some grass to dilute it to make it even safer for them.

I mixed it with oatmeal and grass. They seemed fine with it.

It has too much calcium in it for chicks and pullets for more than a day or two, but if that is all you have, use it. Layer has 4 times the calcium that chick feed has, and feeding it for a long time could cause kidney disease or gout.

It's okay for a day just has too much calcium and not enough protein. Stash some back for next time, cause life happens.
