is michigan wild teasel seeds ok to feed to chickens

I have acres of it. Yesterday they got a taste and loved it. I see it sold as bird seed but its nyjer. i dont know if thats the same. Anyone feed this to their chickens?

I have not heard of this before, but I'm guessing if it is sold as bird seed it is okay for them, chickens are usually pretty good at knowing what to eat and what not to.

I thing your probably right. Its just there is so much of it around here and if it's good I would think people would be using it and I've never heard of it.
