I've always though Mabel was a hen but now that she's in a molt I'm starting to wonder. New feathers are coming in around her tail. Comb and wattle are still very tiny and light colored. Just looking for a second opinion I guess. She will be 5 months on the 21st of this month.

Beautiful bird! I'm going to say it's a hen

This is a picture I just got off of google and the hen has some pretty big tail feathers

Man I hope your right! They have their own Instagram page and someone commented on how Mabel was getting saddle feathers in so she must be a rooster so now I'm starting to worry. She was guaranteed to be a hen when we saved her and I hope that's right since we can't have roosters here. It would absolutely kill me if we couldn't keep her. She's my velcro chicken!!

No need to worry. I see no saddle feathers at all. And her comb is small and pale. She is definitely all girl.
