Really need the crest pulled back so we can see the comb on your new silkie. At this age it won't be long till is crows or lays an egg and then you will know for sure. I think everybody has a neighbor like yours- always huffing and puffing about something. If I had to guess I would say pullet, her posture isn't like a males.
