Is my BA a roo?

My black Australorp is 4 weeks old and has a bigger comb and starting to get red wattles. I can't post a pictures rite know but my avatar is my little BA Melanie and she is the one who might be a roo. Thanks for any help.

Without pictures it is hard to say. However, wattles at 4 weeks is a little early. Keep an eye on her/him.

I have one just like yours she's 4 weeks will be 5 on Monday- pink wattles coming in and a comb( still tanish color) that looks like your avatar pic........Was wondering the same thing- will get a pic later....

I just realized I failed to get pics of my australorps at 5 weeks... I get around to picture taking about every 3 weeks - oh noes, gotta get new chicks so I can take more pictures!!!

Here's one of my girls at 8 weeks. The color is somewhat washed out from the flash, but they're still pale pink.
