I Got this sweet chick about a week or so ago. I was told she was 5-6 weeks and a Brahma. She was in really bad shape and is starting to look much better. She is pretty much feathered everywhere but her head. She is still is so tiny. I am almost wondering if she is a Bantam or maybe her growth is stunted from not getting proper nutrition before? Suggestions?

Also she has been outside since I got her with no issues. But she does sleep alone. She hasn't fully integrated with the others

Hmmm now she looks larger than I thought she was...it is possible to stunt their growth with poor nutrition. So she may be a large fowl brahma, just stunted...ah I'm not sure now, I'm sorry!

Not all LF are huge and not all bantams are tiny, for what its worth.
Do you have another chick to compare her to?

Here is an updated pic next to my 11/12 week old EE. I think she is regular size but I was severely mislead on her age. I think she was about 3-4 weeks when I got her and I think shes about 6 weeks now. When I got her the told me 6-8 weeks which I knew couldn't be. Her feathers are changing a lot and I am starting to think shes a Brahma and Silver Lace Wyandotte mix. What do you all think

?
