We have a 29 week old (almost 7 months) light Brahma purchase as a day-old along with three other light Brahmas and 16 other assorted pullets. This one is the largest of the flock, but has the palest cowl and nearly no comb or wattle. The rest of the flock, including the other Brahmas have much more advanced comb and wattle development. We also have not observed her displaying any laying behaviors. Should we be concerned?

You don't say if any of your other pullets are approaching or have reached point of lay. Typically, Brahmas, a heavy breed, won't reach point of lay and maturity until around nine or even ten months. They don't reach full size and development until age two.

I would not worry unless she is acting "off".
I was actually worried when this years Brahma started to lay at 30 weeks. I felt it was to early.
My others did not start until about 11 months old.

They are after all unique individuals.
