Is my buff laced polish molting?

I noticed her pretty head feathers looks like they are very bare. I'm not sure how to know if she is being picked on or if she is molting? I saw a small spot of blood but nothing like I see when my roo gets pecked in the darn head by the girls. Anything I should do?

There shouldn't be any blood present in a normal molt. It's the right time of year for a molt, but with having seen blood present I would be watching the flock to make sure that the issue is not related to feather picking. An increase in protein intake should help her to re-grow her feathers.

I don't know . I never noticed mine molting they're poof. Hmmm. But mine are molting.
