Is my Buff Orpington going to go broody soon?

So my buff orpington hen has been doing this for a week now. She has been making this broody hen/mother hen sound, spreads her wings and her neck feathers. But when she goes in the box to lay her egg, she quickly shoves eggs under her and growls loudly at me. But the thing is that she hasn't peeled hardly any of her chest feathers so her chest can warm the eggs. That is the thing that concerns me. Do any of yall think she is going broody(I believe she could be)? She did go broody a couple months ago but she quit after a week because I kept taking the eggs out from under her.

Not all hens go broody. I have some pretty fierce bluff Orpingtons. I've only had English or show bred go broody. Only once did I have a hatchery buff Orpington go broody.

Removing the eggs doesn't matter for a hen that us truly broody. She will set on nothing. It is a hormonal phase.

Well, to be honest with you I believe she could be getting ready to go broody because of the way she is acting.

Could be. Time will tell.
This is what she looks like in the box puffed up

Alright today she went in the box early. She still did the same thing she growled at me and puffed her feathers. But still no chest feathers have been pulled off of her though. When she was out, I came near her and she kinda screamed at me lol. But tonight she is roosting outside with another hen. But yes of course I hope she goes broody but you never know. Time will tell.
