Does he stand up straight, do a whistle with his chest out, and kinda wag his tail afterward? It sounds like he's flirting with you and trying to "put you into your place" as one of his females by grabbing onto you.

He stands striaght, does a whistle (or what I called a wheez), chest out, and I've never noticed is tail. He doesn't do that when I'm petting him, just randomly. He pulls my shirt with his bill when I'm petting him, sometimes he tries to bight, but it's not very hard.
