is my chick hatching?

my chick is 15 days old today and looks like its hatching. if it is, will the chick have problems because its so early?

Could have had an undetectable hairline crack that allowed bacteria in.

Gheesh, it does look like its hatching. Is this egg under a broody hen? If so, maybe she pecked at the shell and broke it.

Maybe the egg is older than you thought?

I couldn't say if it would be alright with an open shell like that and 6 more days left to incubate if that is truly how much longer it needs.

yh it is under a broody hen, but the crack doesn't look like its been made by one of the hens.

Try to coat the cracks and hole with wax.

I think I would just leave it alone and hope for the best. Can you hear peeping? What if it is trying to hatch and now it can't breathe because of the wax. Are you sure about the hatch date on this one?
