Last time I checked (yesterday), she had 5 eggs in her egglaying spot. And she has been sitting on that spot for about 2 hours now, and she hasn't left it. She never takes that long to lay and egg.

Information:
Chicken type: Black Cochin Bantam
Reactions: I went to put water out there for her, and she didn't even move. She basically just put her head in one position and never moved it, just starring at me.
Her age: About 6-7 months.

If you try to move her and her feathers stick straight out and she acts like she will attack you, it's a confirmed broody!

It's possible. I like to go down and night and see if they're sleeping on their nest - that usually indicates broody for me. Cochin bantams are one of the broodiest breeds, so it's very likely.

Wow, never mind. She got up and isn't sitting on them anymore........I hate waiting for all these things to happen with the chickens.
