She looks pretty healthy. How heavy is she, and what breed? Those feathers are saddle feathers

She's a Brahma, which are naturally quite plump birds. She's a nice size and shape.

She looks healthy to me. It’s nearly impossible to tell from a photo though. Especially with a breed with that many feathers. The best way to tell is by feel. I don’t hav the directions pulled up now though if someone else could link them?

Oh my goodness! MY light brahma looks exactly like this. She is a LARGE lady and has feet issues. What a pretty chicken!

We can’t tell from looking at her feathers.
She looks like a perfectly normal Brahma hen.
Different breeds will look and be different. She will weigh more than, say, a white leghorn because her breed is meant to be puffier and bigger.
What do you feed her?
Those feathers are normal. They’re called saddle feathers if you want to be specific.
