is my chicken getting ready to start laying

I have a 33 week old buff orpington hen who's comb and waddle are getting bigger and redder and is squatting when I touch her. Should she start laying soon.

I guess it would depend hold cold it gets over there. Here it is really hot in dec but I have had hens start to lay in june which is our winter. We don't get snow but it does get quite cold over night in winter here.
