Might not be the same, but I had a rooster and 4 hens---all seem to be eating good but they got to the point they started stumbling easy. I rushed in and grabbed the rooster---he was having a hard time walking straight----he was hollow felt like--real light----so I caught 2 of the hens----they too were very light weight. I wormed them right then----for 3 days. They were very healthy in a few weeks, filled out good. They would have died if I had not wormed them---no doubt in my mind. With 67 chicken pens and probably 1000+ chickens at that time--I did not have time to hold/handle each one----just glad I always took time to watch them as I was feeding.
