Is my chicken sick or just being bullied?

Hmm coop looks bigger from outside than inside.
Reason they are sleeping the nests is taht the nest are higher from what I think are the roosts(branches below nest?).

Food is not a good diversion, long term......
2x2's and branches for roosts in run. Logs, stumps, pallets leaned against wall or up on concrete blocks, grazing frames, old table/chairs/benches.

I mentioned to my husband that we needed to put some roosting bars higher up for them. And I wanted to remove the ladder and the shelf below the nesting boxes. But we definitely need to do some work in the run. I can see that now.

Wow! That looks like an incredible run for the birds! Out of curiosity what is it that you have laid over the top of it? How many hens do you have?

Entire run is 14ga 2x4 welded wire.
Build details here.
I keep 15-18 birds over winter, may have 30+ during hatching season.

Oh also, what are the grazing boards for?

Anything for them to poop all over
This type of run give chickens stuff to do and focus on besides each other.
It also helpful when integrating a new bird.
I may have learned this from aart myself.
