Chickens do not have a lot of external fat. So it is very difficult to tell if they are obese from their outward appearance. A chicken may be large for it’s breed and not be considered obese. If it’s body cavity is full of fat. Which can only be determined by processing the bird. Then it is obese.

Please ignore the other post but we feed her lots of grains and chicken feed. She has eaten all our grass We are just wondering if she is progressing well
