Is my doe in labor?

Good idea! Ill give her some!

I am very sad to say, she had three babies. I thought only one. She started eating the placenta. Which to me seemed soo big! And i noticed she didnt want to eat two part of it. So i picked it up to throw away. Turns out they were two babies! A male and a female! They had no fur and were brown.:hit:(View attachment 1669487
Oh no.. Im so sorry! :hugs
It looks like they stopped developing early on. You may wanna talk to your vet if you have one and its an option for you. Just to make sure it wasn't due to something goin on with mom. Example.. previous infection, mineral deficiency, etc... its mostly likely a fluke but wouldn't hurt to be sure.:hugs

Whenever i first got her she had this weird infection on her bottom. So i gave her an injection. I forgot what it was called. But i wonder if that couldve caused it.

I really dont know.. there are infections/viruses that can cause such things but Ive not studied them closely. Just haven't needed to. You might do some more research on it or see if you can a vet to check her.
If that's what caused it, the vet may be able to give her something to take care of it permanently and she'll be able to deliver healthy babies in the future. But keep in mind.. it really could just be "one of those things" and it may not ever happen again.:hugs

:weeCongratulations!
*Passes Cigars around the delivery room*:celebrate
You’re blessed to have a healthy one. The fact the others came out with the placenta is a BIG blessing although it may not feel like one. All things considered under her circumstances it went well. Mom’s good & BabyBoy is good.
This whole thread just made my day. Thanks for sharing.
I think you should name him Tre ... for the number 3.

Hahaa:lau

So why is it good for them to have come out with the placenta? Cause it cleans her all out?

Thats a good name suggestion!

Yes...could you imagine if the placenta tore...and one of the fetuses remained inside? Peritonitis....:hit
The two other babies were dead for sometime (size and development tells you). It’s a wonderful thing that she expelled all that.
We need updated Baby Pic’s!
Pleasssssee:love
