Is my drake depressed?

I have a 2 year old drake and 4 females. He sits in the barn facing the wall sometimes puts his head down he doesn't want to go out when the others do he just wants to sit in front of the wall all day!

I doubt your 2 year old drake is depressed. I had a lonely 4 or 5 day old duckling that got depressed but with females around and a nice home, an adult drake should not get depressed.

I think it is far more likely he is ill. Can you bring him inside and get a good luck at him? Feel his crop, his belly and check round his vent. Is he eating? Is he pooping? Is his breathing normal?

Is there any chance he has eaten something he shouldn't have?

He had just started it! I don't think he's sick... I noticed that one of the females is super mean to him when he trys to mate with her. I figured out as long as I keep her away from him he's completely normal and hangs out with the other girls!!! I think maybe he's embarrassed or his ego is hurt because shes the only one that doesn't want him...... Idk
