Is my duck dead?

I've been incubating 6 cayuga duck eggs for the past five days everything has been going perfect with humidity temperature and egg turning (which I'm doing by hand), and decided that today (day 5) I would candle them just to check up on development and such. all of them had veins and you could see their little heart beats, but one was different. I could see the heart, but it wasn't beating and there wasn't any visable veins, also there seemed to be a small collection of blood (not a lot / possibly some other type of shadow) and the air pocket was still there and attached. I know that it's still early in the incubation cycle, but I was just wondering; is it dead? and if anyone knows any possible reason it died?

It may have stopped developing. Early incubation death can have many causes ranging from older eggs to congenital defects to -------------------. Don't toss the egg until next candling just in case.

We did a candling the other day and nothing had changed. We did an eggtopsy and there was no sign of development other than a little bit on blood.
