So one of my Pekins has this very droopy chest. My other Pekin does not. Is this normal...or is it a tumor? (You know you read that last part in Arnold Schwarzenegger’s voice)

How old and does her chest look like this in the morning too? I have a Buff duck who can look similar in the evenings but by morning looks back to normal. What do you feed and what king of exercise do they get daily?

Is this a sudden development, like she's having a problem with her crop?
No. Kinda always been this way. My other Pekin had the same build until it’s last growth spurt. I do think one duck is maybe a week older than the other. I have no clue though....lol

They are 5 weeks old. They were on non medicated chick feed and I started to mix in pellets about a week ago. They also eat mill worms and Romain lettuce. They swim every other day but besides that, I guess not much exercise. They’re coop will be in this week. So more exercise is in the near future.

That’s good Pekins seem to get over weight pretty easy so exercise is important. Just don’t feed treats that are carbohydrates like corn that can really put on the weight.

That looks to me like a really full crop. .
Which in a duck is not a true crop like a chicken. Their esophagus just expands so when they eat a lot it will fill up and hang down like this.
She is probably just eating a lot. I have a duck that is a piggy eater and will look like this by the end of the day.
Do they have access to food at night?
If not you should be able to tell a difference in the morning before she pigs out again. :)
