My 4 day old duckling is not eating and she sleeps all of the time and seems rather lethargic. She will rarely move and doesn't fully extend her legs when she does it is more like a crouching position and then she will sit down again and fall asleep. She has plenty of light to keep her warm. Also she does have another duckling in their with her who is very active. She also doesn't make a lot of noise like the other one does. I just checked on her and she is extremely weak.

Was she like this from the beginning? you might want to try giving them some good poultry vitamins. and see if this will give her a boost in the right direction. Poultry Nutri drench is one I like to use if you need to you can give small drops into front of bill straight from the bottle and also mix in their water. [Never try to squirt anything down their throats they can aspirate it into their lungs] sometimes ducklings and other poultry fail to thrive it's not something we've done it's just something in them. Maybe being hatched and tossed into a box and shipped somewhere in transit for a couple of days. Sometimes genetic, but I'd still work with her giving the vitamins and making sure brooder is right temp also very important. Please let us know how she is doing. Yes, she was like this from the beginning but it was very noticeable today. I will buy her some vitamins and see if they help. Thank you so much.

Unfortunately, she just died but thank you to everyone who tried to help

Gutted for you, I hope your surviving duckling is ok as she's likely to get lonely now.

I'm going to give my other duckling to a local duck farm because I know that it is not fair for her to be by herself.
