I think my duckling may be malpositioned.
What do you guys think? This is my first hatch. I first noticed an internal pip this morning, however I didn’t see a triangle shape anywhere. But I did see movement beyond the outlines of the air cell when I shine a light inside (another egg internally pipped and I DO see a beak outline pretty clearly). This egg also has spots inside, it almost looks like poop. The egg is wobbling around as we speak.
He’s been internally pipped for over 12 hours now. I just made an air hole and am debating on doing an assist. These guys were all shipped, but I did follow Pete’s guide on malpositioned air cells (this air cells actually one of the better looking ones too).
Has anyone ever seen anything like this before?
