Hello, I am new to chickens, and hoping someone can tell me if my easter egger who is 12 weeks old is female or male. I got her and 5 other chicks at 1 day old. My other chickens are of various breeds. I ordered all to be female. Even though they are all different, Her actions and sounds are so much different than all the other chickens. I appreciate any advice. Thank you!

I have three Easter Eggers. Yours is much too young to tell the gender. EE's are extremely difficult to sex

I disagree. EEs are difficult to sex based on combs, yes. However, most EEs are very easy to sex based on feather pattern and you can usually tell sex as young as five weeks.

I have my first EE pullet, she's 8 days old so I'm new to EEs. From what I've seen, I think it's a pullet. My EE has a smooth, calm sounding chirp, much different from our cochin chicks and how our leghorns used to sound like.
