More info needed:
What day of incubation?
What do you mean 'in the cold'...did a broody kick it out of nest?

I’ve just started incubating it today, though i believe it is 16 days old

i dont know it the broody kicked it out of its nest, i apolgize for i’m new to this

So are you using an incubator?
How did the egg get cold?
All eggs should be gathered daily from the nests and stored in a coolish place (55-70°F),
then put in the incubator all at once.
If egg is 16 days old and was not properly stored, it may not be viable to develop.
It does look a bit funky.
