Is my egg hatching

I am at Day 23 with my last remaining bantam egg, I candled this morning and I could see the beak at the membrane right next to the air sac.
I haven't got a hydrometer so don't know my exact humidity so I added a wet kitchen towel to increase it to hopefully get the little one to pip.
I have noticed that at the pointy end it looks like the egg is peeling on the shell outside?
Is this due to the humidity being too high as it can't be the pipping as I know the beak isn't at that end.
Does anybody know what this is and if so what if anything should I do?
Thanks in advance

Can you post a photo? I don't generally assist chicks in hatching. My personal belief is that if they don't hatch, there is probably a reason why and I let mother nature sort things out. Unless it's my fault somehow (ie opening the incubator and drying out the membrane).

To increase humidity you can also use a sponge in a bowl.
