Is my egg still alive?

I’ve been trying to hatch an egg because my girls have been really broody. It’s day 19 and I think I heard a peep but I’m not sure. I took a couple pictures, can anyone tell me if I’ll have a chick in a few days or if it’s dead?

Does it look like blood vessels spread out or a ring of blood?

Be very gently moving the eggs. Most people 'lock down' their incubator for days 18-21 and dont mess with it at all.

It just kind of looks like veins. This is my first time hatching and I have a hen sitting on the egg. It’s a silkie egg I don’t know if that’s important. There is a dark crescent shape on the top and some vein things going down. On the bottom it is light. The egg is pretty heavy.

If there are veins, its alive. :)
What a relief. I was pretty sure everything was alright because I’ve been comparing it so some candling photos it it seemed to match up. I was just concerned because I haven’t heard any distinct noises and they say you can hear peeping at like day 18.

That doesn't look like a day 19 egg to me- it certainly isn't peeping. Maybe day 16? Still fairly late but not quite that late. Sounds like it's still alive tho, I'm not sure from the photo but veins are a good sign. Is the hen on multiple eggs? Might be some were added later if the rest of the flock can reach the nest.

I was kind of thinking the same thing. It’s just the one egg and there were two hens sitting on it they are both inside with the egg now. The egg is one of the first eggs one of my girls layed. It’s super small even for a silkie egg
