My black sex-link chick is 4 weeks old and very healthy from day one. We have noticed that she is very aggressive with the other chicks in her coop and will ram them, pounce on them, and jump on their heads whenever she gets a chance. She also pokes at them. Does this mean she's actually turning into a rooster?!

When will I know for sure?

If it is a black sex-link then it is a female it should have been completely black as a chick. There are tons of stories though of mislabeled chick bins, so anything is possible. If you are reasonably sure it is a sexlink though, it could be just a meany.

Wow that was alot of words, and a very vague answer. I hope it was somewhat helpful anyways.

Hi there, thanks for the response. I know for sure it is a black sex link because that's what I ordered from the hatchery and it was a totally black chick when we got her. So you're right, she might just be a meany! LOL
