I have two hens and 1 rooster they are together in day time and at night they are in their different houses. My one hen started behaving so strange since yesterday I don't know if she is faking it or what. She laid her egg yesterday and put underneath her and i put another hen egg also and she took that underneath her she was literally behaving like a broody hen and since 1 week i have noticed she isn't eating that much. Then today in morning i went to her she was not sitting on eggs 🤦🏻‍♀️ so can you all tell me if she's faking it or she in real wants to go broody ??

Even a non broody hen will do these things.

These are my go-to signs of a broody bird:
Is she on nest most the day and all night?
When you pull her out of nest and put her on the ground, does she flatten right back out into a fluffy screeching pancake?
Does she walk around making a low cluckcluckcluckcluckcluck(ticking bomb) sound on her way back to the nest?

If so, then she is probably broody and you'll have to decide how to manage it.

No she don't do any of these things but when i give her egg yesterday she literally pull that egg underneath herself
