Is my hen growing spurs?! What is happening?!!

I just noticed that my hen had growths on her legs whare spurs would be on a rooster. They are hard and apear to be made of keratin. Are they spurs? Has anyone seen this before?do I need to be concerned?

I'm pretty sure hens can get spurs too. How old is she? Are you sure it is a she?
Sometimes, also hens can take the place of a rooster, grow big spurs, and start crowing! Some will even stop laying.

Hmmm... The "turning into a rooster" thing is pretty rare. I'm not an expert, so hopefully someone with more experience will chime in.

Is she the top hen? I’ve heard that sometimes higher ranking hens can develop rooster-like tendencies.
