Any bird can be shown, but she does not meet the standard of perfection.

Thanks for answering! Could I breed her chicks and great grand chicks to the SOP? Or is she too low down on the totem pole for even that?

Here is a show quality barred plymouth rock. Notice her shape. How her wings are held.

Not my bird. But a very nice one. :drool

Also note that the barred variety typically doesn't win in the shows. White has always beat colour to any show I've attended, because patterned birds need to be just so. White eliminates the need for perfection in the pattern.
