I think you mean show quality. If you are interested in showing, I recommend you invest in a book called "The American Standard of Perfection". http://www.amerpoultryassn.com/APA_ShoppingMall3.htm You can buy one on the American Poultry Assn. Website. The book has everything you need to know about your breed.

Thanks for answering! Could I breed her chicks and great grand chicks to the SOP? Or is she too low down on the totem pole for even that?

It would take far too long to do that.

Here is a show quality barred plymouth rock. Notice her shape. How her wings are held.

Not my bird. But a very nice one.

Also note that the barred variety typically doesn't win in the shows. White has always beat colour to any show I've attended, because patterned birds need to be just so. White eliminates the need for perfection in the pattern.
