is my house silkie a roo?

Picked up this little one about a month ago, destined to be my spoiled house chicken and brooder buddy for the chicks I hatch in my bator. I'm not sure on age - didn't think to ask when I bought it and I've never had silkies. S/he is at that scraggly covered in pin feathers stage of juvenile awkwardness. I was hoping for a hen, but that lumpy bumpy comb is getting awfully big, no?

I thought so. I was just in denial a wee bit. He's still awesome with the chickies in the brooder.

I suppose we'll just have to get "Chickenbutt" (2 year old daughter named him lol) a ladyfriend, right? Isn't that like the first law of chicken math or something?
