Yesterday was the 5-year anniversary of when we got KMM from the feral kitty rescue.

We were told she was about 1 year old when we got her, so we're basically treating the day we got her as her "birthday"... making her 6 years old!

I'm not sure if I posted these before, but here are pics of her when the rescue found her on the streets of Fresno right after she had 7 (YES, SEVEN) kittens!

Before she had her ear chopped to mark that she's been fixed... and when she was super skinny / malnourished giving all the food to the babies!

She's SO beautiful, especially when compared to her earlier pics, in which she looks like a desparate, homeless mother trying to juggle college and kids after being abandoned by her husband, lol. You and your wife are to be commended for taking her in when you did, but I suspect being owned by her is its own reward?
