Is my leghorn laying?

We bought 10 rhode island reds and 1 leghorn from a friend. We are first time chicken owners and have learned a lot. I have read that leghorns lay white eggs, all I get are various shades of brown. Is she not laying? What is the best way to figure this out? We average 8-10 eggs a day

Yes, white leghorns lay white eggs. Once she starts be prepared for a windfall.... mine lays eggs almost 7 days a week!!!
