I assume she's around 4 weeks. We took her in for a friend who was in over their head. She also seems alot smaller than my other SLW at that age. When I first posted a picture and said something about her comb being different, people commented that a single comb is a recessive gene. But her wattles are starting to grow.

I see no obvious signs of a cockerel at this point. Comb is still small and lacks any color. Post pics in another month.

At 4 weeks, too young to be certain. Some breeds get combs/wattles earlier. However, for 4 weeks, this chick has some obvious wattles, and could be male. Still too young to be certain though. 8 weeks will be better to repost. When you do, allow it to stand and get a side shot, including tail. Also get good head shot and maybe from top to see it’s back feathers, if it will hold still long enough.

My other SLW are just now having their wattles REALLY come in, around 10-12 weeks. She hardly stands still as it is, as this chicken was raised with a duck, and is very codependent on the duck :hmm
