Is my Peachick a Pied??? Please Help!

Based on nothing other than it looks a little redder, I'm gonna guess male, but please understand that this is just a guess and that I have very little experience sexing peachicks.

I was thinking male as well! I hope he's a male! That could have something to do with it lol Quick question is males worth more than females or are peafowl like chickens basically all females are worth more due to the egg laying ability? Or are the males worth more with peafowl due to their beauty?

In our area hens are worth more because there is a bigger demand for them.

Fully dependent on the market you are trying to sell to, in general to any 'farmer' or 'breeder' the hens are worth more and this is generally the bigger market, but when it comes to 'pet' owners or 'exhibitors' the cocks demand a higher price...

At the livestock shows around me a mature full train cock demands a premium because most of the people there are looking for WOW 'pets', and there seems to be very few mature hens that actually last beyond the first 10 minutes where all the other vendors gobble them up before the public enters... And if you are looking for a cock most of the peachick sellers at the show will guarantee a buyback of any that turn out to be hens that or they will swap you a cock if they have one...
