I picked up this beautiful little Polish today. Compared to the others, her poof was more rounded and not pokey. She was a little dirty so I gave her a bath, and she is so docile and sweet. I don't know her age, but she's not that big. She's fully feathered but still young, so maybe a few months old. Any guesses on gender? I know I keep saying "she" but at this point who knows.

Yep thank... I don't know how old she is. She's still small. I am hoping for a girl. I picked her up with a tiny frizzled silkie and a buff brahma pullet and they are being very sweet together. I hope they blend well with my current flock. I returned the black copper marans... I wanted the dark eggs but she was nutso.

I will tomorrow for sure. I returned a barred rock and the marans and brought back the silkie. She so cute! She was dirty, too... I gave her a bath and blow dried her up and she couldn't move for a half hour she was so relaxed. She's not totally black... more like a dark grey. Tomorrow I'll bring her in and take a shot. She's all feathered out but very small so I am not sure how old she is. I am taking a guess on her gender. He had another one just like her... a tiny bit bigger. Comparing the combs, hers was still very small/nonexistent and the other one definitely had something going on. Her crest was wider and his was more spikey, standing straight up... I have 4 silkies (2 bearded white and 2 bearded partridge) and fortunately guessed right on those 4 when I got them... Hoping she's a she.
