Is my rooster normal

My BCM boy, though very much the ideal Rooster in every other way, took forever to start crowing, and he still sounds a little strained at times, and does a partial crow sometimes as well! At 8 1/2 months... don’t worry too much about it, and I hope your boy turns out as awesome as mine has!

BTW my rooster was 8 months old before he even thought about the fact he was a rooster.
