This is my rooster he is 1 year old and he is a full breed Barred Plymouth Rock. Is he show quality? I want to enter him in the Dixie Classic Fair. Thanks!!

My thoughts would be no. The lack of barring in his tail is going to be a cut on the score card, but they are not completely white, so not a DQ

No its not SQ.
It lacks in good barring though out/ and color, the over all size of the bird need to be bigger and is off in type. He look to be a very hatchery type Barred Rock, where did you get him from? If you hatched him where did you get the parents from?..

This is what you are looking/ working for... http://www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/6541850 (not my birds)

Lindsey,
Do you have a incubator? If so then for $20.00 + $12.00 for shipping you can get you some real good bantam barred rocks form a real good breeder.
Here is one of Dick Horstman's listings at eggbid http://www.eggbid.com/listings/details/index.cfm?itemnum=1269908244 here is another picture of some of his bantam barred rocks http://www.eggbid.com/listings/details/index.cfm?itemnum=1269908220

Just a note here on Dick's stuff. He will sell eggs very reasonable, he has great stuff and maybe it is just dumb luck, but I set 36 of his shipped eggs and they are at day 16 and when candled them a couple of days ago, I had 33 eggs developing nicely. He is not a chatterbox but sells eggs for a good price. I have only seen some pictures of his birds, but he is well respected
