I was wondering if he is show quality. I know his feet need more feathers but i dont know anything else about whats good and bad on him. I also dont know what color he is. There arent any good head shots from the front but i can take one if anyone wants to see it.

thanks for any help.

People are working on them--some are many generations and very good quality. However, I have to agree, though that the OP's is pet, not show quality. The colour is not recognised--I'm not even sure what to call it; the crest is too small and as you mentioned , foot feathering needs improvement. Also the tail feathers are too stiff.

Exactly. There is really nothing SQ about the bird at all. Everything is off.

For those of you who like Show Girls, he would be a lovely pet.

I agree. Maybe, you could pair her with a really nice Silkie roo and soften some feathering up on her offspring, but I doubt that it will soften them up enough.

But, I love the showgirls no matter what they look like. I think they are really neat.

Hi, This is Diamonte's sister.
I was wondering if splash would be the best color to breed him to? We only have splash and dirty buff silkie hens. Our splash are beautiful, fluffy, with great feathering.

Thanks
