Is my silkie a blue or black?

I thought my 7 week old silkie is a blue but now he is getting dark around his head and chest so I’m not sure now. Here’s some pictures.

Hmm... That looks pretty black to me. On the last picture I do see a blue - looking one behind him. Maybe he was the wrong breed, or a mix?

Here are chick pictures. The one that is splash is the baby chick in front. The tan chick turned white. He looked blue as a chick.

Hmm so maybe black? All the head feathers are new so maybe that’s just his real color showing coming out now that they are getting juvenile feathers.

Yeah, that's what I'm guessing. Pretty bird!
 
I ordered a bunch of blue cochins. This is what one of them looked like as a chick.
